Milk prices to increase in Pakistan city Karachi
  
  

Milk prices in Pakistan's largest city Karachi has increased for the third time this year to Rs42 per litre, with another increase expected to go up to Rs44 per litre.

 

Many milk retailers in the city have already started to charge Rs44 per litre while others are following the instructions of the All Karachi Milk Retailers Welfare Association to maintain the price of Rs42 for now.

 

According to reports, milk in the wholesale market are sold at Rs1,480 per maund, which retailers said has caused them to be unable to earn any profits, though they are not making losses either.
