Argentina and Spain sign memorandum for cooperation in fisheries and aquaculture

Argentina's Minister of Agribusiness of the Nation Luis Miguel Etchevehere and his Spanish counterpart, Luis Planas, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Bilateral Cooperation on Fisheries and Aquaculture, in the framework of the meeting of Agriculture Ministers of the G-20, which took place between July 27 and 28 in Buenos Aires.

Among other things, the agreement establishes a framework of collaboration for the promotion and development of technological exchange in the production and commercialisation of aquaculture products through the use of training programmes. It will also promote commercial exchanges and investments in the fisheries and aquaculture sector.
