China's Machine Engineering Corporation will put up a mineral fertilisers facility with a yearly capacity of 310,200 tonnes of fertilisers.

The memorandum of exclusive cooperation in construction of the mineral fertilisers plant in Kyrgyzstan was signed between the Kyrgyz Ministry of Agriculture and Melioration, China's Machine Engineering Corporation and Mineral Fertilizers Plant Ltd, the Ministry's press service said on July 31.

The plant will be built in the town of Tash-Kumyr, close to Tegene coal field.

The Chinese company will transfer 30% stake in the charter capital of the Mineral Fertilizers Plant Ltd to the Kyrgyz government.
