Firm Lysine Prices In Asian Markets

Recent spot market prices of lysine in Asia have edged higher due to lower availability of supplies from some producers.

Current offers (CIF) were ranging from US$1.90-1.95 /kg.

Purchase activity are seen building up as traders and feed millers prepare for disruptions in supplies from two major producers who have announced plans for plant maintenance in August and September.
