Creditor bank appoints inspectors to Chile's salmon industry
The Chilean salmon farming sector's production and financial development will be supervised by technical inspectors from creditor banks.
The Financial Technical Inspector (ITF) will regulate the industry's new sanitary system on site. The idea is to send people who have the bank's confidence and trust to report on the new sanitary and financial process, according to a top bank executive.
Among the main creditor banks of the Chilean salmon farming industry are BCI, BBVA, Chile, Santander, State, Corpbanca, Rabobank, Itau and Bice.
