Lithuania's grain exports show decrease

 
 

Lithuania's grain purchase, sale and processing companies exported a total of 29,350 tonnes of grain in June, a decrease of 77.9% from a year ago, according to data from the Agricultural Information and Rural Business Centre.

 

Total grain imports rose by 15.5% on-year to 23,530 tonnes, it said.

 

Lithuania last month imported a total of 14,200 tonnes of wheat, from Latvia, Poland, Demark and Germany, and exported 25,800 tonnes of wheat, to Denmark, Germany, Spain and Nigeria.

 

Barley imports, at 8,000 tonnes, came from Latvia and Denmark, while exports, at 2,700 tonnes, went to Latvia, Estonia, Poland and Denmark.
