China Methionine Weekly: Weak trend prevails (week ended Aug 1, 2017)
China's methionine imports shrank 4% on-month during June, totaling 14,875 tonnes, while prices dropped to new historic low levels. Exports grew 31% to 4,020 tonnes. In Europe, prices of Chinese methionine for Q3 2017 deliveries increased to the range of EUR2.34-2.45/kg.
