Egypt purchases 240,000 tonnes of Russian Wheat

 

 

Two hundred and forty thousand tonnes of Russian wheat were purchased by Egypt's state-owned wheat buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities.

 

According to Bloomberg, of the total, GASC bought 60,000 tonnes from Glencore at US$254.65/tonne with US$15.93 for freight and 60,000 tonnes from Viterra at US$254.80/tonne with US$16.25 for freight.

 

GASC also bought 60,000 tonnes from Aston at US$255.25/tonne with US$16.10 for freight and 60,000 tonnes from Louis Dreyfus at US$255.20/tonne with US$16.25 for freight.

 

The wheat is for shipment from September 1-10.
