Russia bans poultry imports from France, UK's Surrey and Philippines
 

 

The Russian government announced a temporary ban on French poultry products and domestic bird feed, following an outbreak of Newcastle disease in the region of Pays de la Loire.

 

Russia has also banned poultry imports from the Philippines and Britain's Surrey county due to bird flu and Newcastle disease respectively.

 

The ban applied to live poultry, eggs, poultry meat, all types of poultry products that had not undergone thermal processing, as well as poultry feed.
