Ukraine's corn export forecast to reach 14 million tonnes in 2013-14

In 2013-14 marketing year (July 2013-June 2014), Ukraine's Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food predicts corn export at 14 million tonnes amid the production level of 25 million tonnes.

Wheat export is expected at eight million tonnes with the production level of 20.5 million tonnes, and barley export at two million tonnes with the production level of seven million tonnes.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, as a whole, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food predicts grain crop export at 26 to 27 million tonnes in the 2013-14 marketing year. Last year's export totalled 23 million tonnes.

At the same time, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food predicts wheat export at eight million tons, corn at 14.389 million tonnes, barley at 2.211 million tonnes, rye at 95,000 tonnes, oats at 47,000 tonnes and millet at 26,000 tonnes in this marketing year.
