Supply drop holds up China methionine prices
Prices of methionine were stable to higher during the week ending July 30.
Supplies of methionine decreased of late as producers several producers withheld price releases while halting operation for routine maintenance.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine were higher in the range of RMB17.80-18/kg.
Methionine producers will stand firm on prices with availability decreased.
