COFCO's corn processing plant in Changchun goes online

The first phase of COFCO Biochemical Energy Yushu Company's 600,000 tonne per year corn deep-processing project recently went into operation at Changchun Wukeshu Economic Development Zone.

With a total investment of RMB2.4 billion, the first phase of the project accounted for RMB690 million. The corn processing capacilty includes a 410,000-tonne capacity for starch, 97,000 capacity for corn fiber feedstuff and a 31,000-tonne capacity for corn protein powder.
