USDA Says 100,000 MT Of Corn Sold To Egypt In 2004-05
Private exporters reported to the U.S. Department of Agriculture export sales of 100,000 metric tons of corn for delivery to Egypt during the 2004-05 marketing year, the USDA said Monday.
The 2004-05 marketing year for corn will begin Sept. 1.
U.S. exporters are required to report to the USDA sales of 100,000 tons or more of any commodity made in the same day to the same destination by 1500 ET (1900 GMT) the next business day, according to the USDA's Foreign Agriculture Service. Any export sales under 100,000 tons must be reported on a weekly basis.
