Cattle to Kansas feedlots increase

The number of cattle heading to Kansas feedlots increased 1% in July 1 in contrast to the previous year.

Similarly, milk production in Kansas rose by about 5% from last July.

In general, the number of cattle continues to decline in the US, decreasing 1% to 100 million head, in July from last year.
