Meriden appoints international technical support specialist

Kat Konstanti, international technical support specialist, Meriden Animal Health

Meriden Animal Health has appointed Kat Konstanti as the company's international technical support specialist.

Konstanti's key responsibility is to provide support to the growth of Meriden's products in the aquaculture industry and other species areas of the business,through her technical knowledge and understanding of the market.

She is a graduate from the University of Stirling, Scotland, and holds a Masters in sustainable aquaculture. With a focus in aquatic animal health control, nutrition, food safety and practical feed production, Konstantihad investigated several aspects of aquatic animal culture during her studies and gained a solid understanding of the principles which surround the aquaculture industry.

"Meriden has gained a solid base in the aquaculture industry since re-formulating its flagship product to create Orego-StimAquatract and developing Phyconomix. It is my goal to continue the development of these products within the aquaculture industry which is in dire need of effective, natural and sustainable products," said Konstanti on her appointment.

Orego-StimAquatract has been formulated to reduce mortality, increase harvest weight per area and provide support against stress during vaccination and grading. The product is available in both liquid and powder form.
