Russia, Ukraine relations remain stable amid meat and dairy ban
In spite of the prohibition of meat and diary imports from Ukraine, Ukrainian-Russia relations are not affected, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich.
Lukashevich also added that the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) and respective services of the Customs Union would be offering explanations concerning the restrictions of Ukrainian meat and dairy products supply, and their compliance with veterinary and sanitary requirements and standards.
According to the media, Rosselkhoznadzor introduced limitations on the supply of meat and dairy by 28 Ukrainian enterprises to the territory of the Customs Union countries. Only three Ukrainian enterprises were allowed to continue to supply their products to the Customs Union.
