Twelfth ASF outbreak strikes Poland this year

Poland confirmed its 12th African swine fever (ASF) outbreak this year.

The outbreak was detected on July 11 on a farm with a total of eight pigs, located in Cichostow Kolonia, Milanów municipality, Parczewski county, Lubelskie province.

Prior to this outbreak, another one was detected on July 7 on a farm where 38 pigs were kept. The farm was located in Stary Podoś, Ploniawy-Bramura municipality, Makowski county, Mazowieckie province.
