DSM appoints executive vice president for People & Organization
Royal DSM has announced that Judith Wiese, currently vice president of People & Organization Corporate with Mars, Incorporated, will join DSM as the organisation's executive vice president (Group People & Organization) on October 1.
She will succeed Peter Vrijsen as of January 1, 2018 who has been effectively transforming the DSM HR organisation and processes since joining the company in 2014. Vrijsen has chosen to retire after a long and successful career.
Wiese holds a master in Business Administration in Human Resource and Economics from the University of Duisburg, Germany.
She joined Mars in 1998 and has held a number of HR-leadership positions in various regions of the world and within different sectors, all with a focus on people and organisation, talent management and organisational development.
Wiese is currently based in McLean, Virginia, US.
In her new role, she will report to Feike Sijbesma, CEO and chairman of DSM's managing board, and become a member of the executive committee.
