US Soybean Export Sales Rebound


U.S. exporters sold 111,600 tons of soybeans last week, a big improvement over the previous week and more than the average totals for recent weeks. Wheat sales were also up from a week ago, while corn sales retreated.


According to USDA, soybeans were sold to South Korea, Denmark and Japan, with another 8,000 tons sold to Japan for new crop.


Wheat sales totaled 428,000 tons, with Japan, Colombia, Thailand, Peru, Italy and Mexico the main destinations.


Corn sales totaled 357,400 tons for old crop and 318,500 tons for new crop.
