Japan's Hog Cholera Cases May Be Due To Unapproved Vaccination 
 

The recent cases of suspected hog cholera in Japan's Kagoshima Prefecture may have been caused by unauthorized vaccinations rather than an outbreak of the disease, farm ministry officials said Thursday.

 

Experts at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries met to look into the cases of 37 pigs suspected of being infected with hog cholera at a pig farm in Kanoya, they said.
