ForFarmers appoints new business support specialist

 


ForFarmers has appointed Mark Brightmore as its business support specialist who will offer expert on-farm support to broiler producers.


Brightmore was previously the company's key account manager for its broiler range.


The new role of business support specialist has evolved from a recognised need to provide hands-on, on farm support, not only to help broiler customers improve performance but also, to provide a vital link between the customer, account management and the technical development teams at ForFarmers, the company said.


Brightmore will be providing additional support and expert guidance to ensure broiler producers are maximising on the support services offered by ForFarmers and in turn, generating healthier returns from the market leading Apollo broiler feeding range.


Brightmore has worked in a customer-facing role for ForFarmers since 2015, operating across poultry of all types. He has gained vast experience and in-depth knowledge in the broiler sector to prepare for his role.


Having worked closely with the technical team at ForFarmers, Brightmore was central to the development and launch of the new and successful Apollo range. This range complements the nutritional needs of the modern broiler and has shifted performance to deliver numerous 400+ EPEF results.


In his new role, Brightmore will serve as an integral link providing invaluable feedback throughout the ForFarmers' account management, nutrition and technical teams to continually improve the diets and health of broilers.


In another development, customers are trialling a new performance app that ForFarmers is developing. The aim of the app is to provide daily feedback and real-time tracking whilst monitoring performance against breed standards. The app will also report any issues as they arise which will enable Brightmore  to pinpoint any support requirements.
