Tangrenshen establishes central-south China's largest meat processing base
China's Tangrenshen Group, a Hunan-based integrated pork company, has begun production in its meat processing base in Zhuzhou City, Hunan, on July 16, which is the largest of its kind in central-south China.
With an investment of RMB160 million (US$23.4 million), the base is designed to manufacture western-style foodstuff and it has an annual output of 100,000 tonnes of meat products.
Tangrenshen had installed the whole production line with processing equipment imported from Denmark and Germany and it was designed by China's Internal Trade Engineering & Research Institute.
