Russia's "Yugtransitservis" exported 3.2 million tonnes of grain



Yugtransitservis, among one of Russia's largest grain producers and exporters,  exported 3.2 mln tonnes of grains from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan for 2005/2006.


Destinations include Arabian Peninsula countries, Libya, Bangladesh, Kenya, Tanzania, and Vietnam.


This year, the company intends to increase export volumes of Ukrainian grain to 1 million tonnes.


In 2005 consolidated sale proceeds of Yugtransitservis jumped by 82 percent as compared to the previous year and totaled US$446.6 mln.


Yugtransitservis company is a vertically-integrated agro industrial company exporting grains and oilseeds. Its farmland totals 108,600 hectares in Russia and 21,000 hectares in Ukraine. The company plans to increase the area of leased land in Ukraine to 100.000 ha.
