Corn prices in China mixed early this week (Jul 21, 2005)

Corn prices in China were mixed early this week.
Prices were stable to higher in the north-eastern production regions amid tight supplies there.
Prices in the Yellow / Huai River production regions mostly edged higher in recent days also amid tightening supplies there.
Meanwhile, prices in central China have started to stabilise.
Transacted prices of corn in the southern consumption regions have slipped, following the arrival of poor quality corn from the north-eastern production regions, amid tight supplies of good quality corn.
