China's Ningxia Yiping Food Group's Lysine Plant To Commence Production Soon

China's Ningxia Yiping Food Group reported that it's trial production run for its 20,000-ton lysine project has been successful and that it will be commencing official production soon.

The new lysine plant is a joint-project between Ningxia Food Group Company Limited and Ningxia Qinghe Engineering Company Limited. Ningxia Yiping Food Group accounts for 51% of the total investment of RMB187.3 million. 

With cornstarch being the major raw material, the newly-built lysine plant is expected to consume more than 50,000 tons of cornstarch each year.
