China Corn: Prices surge 5% in seven weeks (week ended Jul 18, 2023)

Corn prices continued to rise slowly but steadily, even as feed demand was not especially strong. With supply tight, corn prices have surged substantially by 5.2% over the past seven weeks.

Corn prices averaged RMB2,829/tonne, increasing RMB10/tonne or 0.35% compared with the previous week.

Corn market is expected to stay strong on the back of tight availability.
