Southern Ethiopia builds poultry plants
Ethiopia's State Agriculture and Rural Development Bureau announced the ongoing construction of four poultry plants in four towns of Southern Peoples State with an outlay of ETB11 million (US$0.81).
Ayalew Zenebe, Communication Process Head with the Bureau, said on Friday (July 16) that the said poultry buildings are being constructed on 10,000 hectares of land.
The construction of the poultry facilities had been completed in two months. It can supply over 80,000 chickens to market.
