Vietnamese shrimp market rebounds

Vietnam's shrimp market has rebounded not long after the US, Japan and the EU opened up more to the country's shrimp products.

Shrimp prices in Ca Mau and Kien Giang provinces were at VND135,000 - 140,000/kg and VND124,000-130,000/kg respectively. In Soc Trang province, shrimp prices increased at an average of VND8,000-10,000/kg.

According to Vietnam's seafood industry, domestic shrimp export volume and prices to the US, Japan and the EU have bounced back.
