Nestle To Invest 170 Million Yuan To Expand China Dairy Plant
Nestle Group plans to invest 170 million yuan to expand a milk powder plant in northeast China, doubling its annual output to 200,000 tons.
The expansion of the facility in Shuangcheng based in Heilongjiang province is scheduled for October and will also increase Nestle's raw milk processing capacity to 600,000 tons per year from the current 300,000 tons.
The plant was built in 1990 and been expanded three times so far.
Nestle was not immediately available for comment.
