China methionine market softens on sluggish demand
Prices of methionine were stable to lower during the week ending July 18.
Producers attempted to hold up the prices of methionine. However, with demand sluggish amid slow feed consumption, traders in several regions lowered prices in a bid to move sales.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine fell to the range of RMB17.80-18/kg.
