China vitamin A prices slide on slack demand
Prices were lower over the past few weeks.
Export demand for vitamin A was flat as premix producers in Europe have mostly stocked ample supplies. Trade was light in the domestic market as well with livestock population increasing at a slow rate.
Price quotes of locally produced vitamin A were lower at RMB113-115/kg.
Vitamin A market will continue to stay weak as demand stays soft in the near term.
