China lysine prices consolidate lower on soft demand
Lysine prices stayed soft during the week ending July 16.
Although most producers stood firm on prices, traders were tempted to lower prices to stimulate sales.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine slid to the range of RMB7.60-8/kg.
Limited production of lysine during summer will lend support to the market.
