Vietnam's Jan-May exports to Israel surge 181%
In the first five months of 2012, Vietnam has earned US$131.03 million worth of exports to Israel, 181% higher than the previous year, with the inclusion of US$27.5 million in May.
Seafood remained the country's top forex earner with US$11.8 million, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said on its website late Tuesday, giving no on-year comparative figure.
Trade between Vietnam and Israel stood at US$375.91 million in 2011, including the former's trade deficit of US$34.41 million, the General Department of Vietnam Customs said.
