Termotecnica Pericoli launches redesigned EOC Exhaust Cone Fan
The Termotecnica Pericoli EOC range of fans-mainly used in poultry housing, where a typical tunnel ventilation system is installed-has undergone a transformation to produce more air capacity, improve rigidity and robustness, reduced vibration and noise.
All new EOC 53 fans are supplied as standard with cone and inlet shutters in aluminium, with safety guards on both inlet and outlet sides. All Bess Lab Test performance specifications are inclusive of these features. There are three models ranging from 0.75- 1.5 Hp are all fitted with 6 blades for high static pressure operation and performance with a high capacity air flow.
The increased 53†diameter propeller of the cone fan produces more air capacity, while its monolithic wall housing with more sturdy body and cone support lowers vibration and noise. The new motor position also improves rigidity, accessibility and airflow.
In recent years, the trend has been to adopt these "cone fans" which are a derivative of the standard extraction or exhaust fans which have been in use for many years. The "addition" of the cone on the discharge side of the fan adds significantly to the fan’s capacity and performance for the same diameter of the propeller and motor configuration. This increase in capacity and performance is typically between 10 - 15%.
