Weak trend prevails in China calcium phosphate market

Prices were stable to lower during the period in review.

Prices of sulphuric acid and phosphate ore softened as supplies were abundant while demand stayed weak amid low sales of fertilisers. Hence, low raw ingredients costs kept calcium phosphate prices soft while feed demand recovered slower than expected.

With poultry inventories staying low, hence decimating the demand for calcium phosphorous, producers are unlikely to lift prices.
