Vietnam's Seafood Exports To Japan Soar 35%
Viet Nam's seafood export value to Japan soared 35 percent in the first half of this year, making up 26.2 percent of Viet Nam's total export earning from Japan, according to the Viet Nam Association for Seafood Exporters and Producers.
The achievements were obtained as almost all Vietnamese seafood enterprises actively boosted exports to Japan, and Viet Nam's shrimps gradually replaced Indonesian products in the Japanese market. This is a positive boost to Viet Nam as the tiger prawn harvest began, and should further increase export.
Many fish exporters have high growth rates in the first six months as they diversified their products and found new outlets.
