Czech's grain harvest increase 6.1% on year
The Czech Republic's grain production will rise 6.1% to 6.55 million tonnes in 2011, according to the Czech Statistics Bureau (CSU) on Monday (Jul 11) with regards to its first crop estimate this season.
Last year, the grain harvest totalled 6.17 million tonnes.
The following forecasts are based on data collected as of June 20. The data stated that there will be 4.46 million tonnes of wheat, 1.65 million tonnes of barley, 6.55 million tonnes of basic grains and 1.06 million tonnes of rapeseed.
