China lysine market strengthens amid lower output

Lysine prices increased further during the week ending July 3.

Domestic demand for lysine remained stable whereas export orders stayed flat. However, as feed millers who have scheduled for routine maintenance produced mainly to fulfil previously concluded orders, supplies of lysine tightened.

Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were at RMB4.70-5/kg.

Lysine prices are seen stable to higher amid dwindling availability.
