Hog prices rebounded by 1.3% after consolidating lower in the previous week. Demand for pork remained slow but limited supplies of finishing hog lent support to the market. Pork carcass prices inched up 0.16% to RMB18.54/kg even though slaughterhouses remained cautious with purchases.
