Cattle feed plant to be set up in India's Meghalaya state
The Indian central government has approved a project to establish a cattle feed plant in the state of Meghalaya.
Chief minister Conrad K Sangma tweeted on July 8 that the department of animal husbandry and veterinary has approved for the setup of the Rs 65.65 crore site which will have a 150 tonnes per day capacity
"It will become the hub for cattle feed manufacturing in the (northeastern part of India)," he said.
