Tunisia buys 108,000 tonnes of feed barley
Tunisia has bought 108,000 tonnes of optional origin feed barley priced between US$276.75 and US$286.49 a tonne, cost and freight included, European traders said on Friday (July 6).
Tunisia had sought 117,000 tonnes of barley, in four 25,000-tonne cargoes and one for 17,000 tonnes for shipment between the middle of July and the end of August.
Traders cited the country purchased 6,000 tonnes from Granit at US$277.90 a tonne, 10,000 tonnes from Nidera at US$276.75 and 92,000 tonnes from Glencore at US$286.49, all cost and freight.
The grain exports will likely come from the European Union, the traders said.
