AVA Says Poultry In Singapore Safe To Eat
The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) has said poultry in Singapore is safe to eat and the country is free from bird flu.
Some Singaporeans have been worried after reports about the resurgence of bird flu in the region.
The authorities have taken all necessary precautionary measures to prevent the disease from entering the country.
There are strict controls at every point of entry and all local farms are bio-secured.
Wild birds in Singapore have also been tested and found to be free of the disease.
