China Trace Minerals: Prices soften on tepid demand (week ended Jul 4, 2022)

As sales remained slow, trace mineral products producers lowered prices while the costs of production decreased.
Copper sulphate export prices fell to US$2.85/kg. Transact prices narrowed to the range of RMB19-19.10/kg in China.
Export prices and local transact prices of ferrous sulphate remained at US$0.29/kg and RMB1.94-2.40/kg respectively.
For zinc sulphate, export prices dipped to US$1.21/kg while local transact prices consolidated lower in the range of RMB8-8.10/kg.
Meanwhile, zinc oxide export prices slid to US2.93/kg, whereas local transact prices softened to the range of RMB19-19.60/kg.
While export prices were unchanged at US$0.64/kg, manganese sulphate remained in the range of RMB4.29-4.60/kg in China.
