ADM welcomes USMCA free trade deal

ADM has welcomed the United-States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) that recently went into effect and which replaces the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

"USMCA offers a modernised framework for free and fair trade that will enhance market access and benefit farmers, ranchers and agricultural communities across North America," the company said in a press release.

"We appreciate the leadership of the (Trump) Administration and policymakers in Congress who ensured this important agreement was able to go into effect."
