Lallemand Animal Nutrition appoints new Country Manager for Australia

Lallemand Animal Nutrition has announced that it has appointed Alex Turney as Country Manager, Australia effective July 1, 2012.

 

Turney, currently Business Development Director Pacific for Lallemand Animal Nutrition in Australia has succeeded Ken Rich, the managing director and founder of Lallemand's Animal Nutrition's Australian business Quality Silage Systems, following Ken's planned retirement from full time employment.

 

Turney joined Lallemand Animal Nutrition in November 2011 after five years with Elanco Animal Health Australia, where he was the Business Unit Manager Intensive Livestock.  Prior to joining Elanco, he worked for Adisseo for seven years managing their vitamin and enzyme portfolio in Australia and New Zealand. Turney holds a degree in applied science from Massey University in New Zealand.

 

Commenting on the announcement, Tim Pollock, Lallemand's regional director for Australia, New Zealand and the UK said: "Alex's in depth nutritional expertise and knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand ruminant and monogastric markets will be invaluable to our feed industry and stock feed customers as we continue to develop our feed additive and forage product portfolio across Australia and the Pacific region".
