SKIOLD makes it big in new Taiwan market
 

At the beginning of this year, SKIOLD signed its first order for a SKIOLD liquid feeding system. Now the company has signed a second order, this time being a large order for a full-line swine farm for HEMMAY INTERNATIONAL CORP.

HEMMAY is a company with manufacturing plants in Vietnam and Taiwan, and they designed the farm with SKIOLD supplying all the equipment: silos, dry feeding, penning, flooring, slurry and Transpork PC control for full-line swine farm including boar, gestation, farrowing, weaner and finisher sections.

Some of the unique products from SKIOLD which support more profitable swine production and healthier pigs are:

• Dry feeding solution with the award-winning SKIOLD Maximat which allocates the proper amount of feed, significantly reducing bridge building and having a self-cleaning effect

• Multiphase feeding enables feeding up to five different recipes down the same pipeline, ensuring the pigs' actual nutritional needs are met. Hereby optimising feeding expenses and adjusting feed mixtures so that the pigs utilise the nutrients in an optimum manner with minimal excretion of nutrients as liquid manure.

• SKIOLD PN600/700 Penning system, designed to optimise the climate in tunnel ventilation farms and to limit bacterial growth for better swine health.

• Training and education of the local staff to comply with Danish production methods.
