Japan to place feed wheat, barley tender
On July 4, a maximum of 120,000 tonnes of feed wheat and 200,000 tonnes of feed barley will be placed on tender by Japan, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
The ministry, which holds feed-grain import tenders every Wednesday (June 27), didn't purchase anything today because of a lack of demand from end-users, Tomonori Kimoto at the ministry's grain- trade division said.
Tenders are held under the so-called simultaneous buy-and-sell system.
