China Choline Chloride: Sales weak, prices fall (week ended Jun 27, 2022)

Demand for choline chloride was poor, exerting pressure on the market. Producers cut prices readily in efforts to promote sales.

Export prices of 50% choline chloride and 60% products weakened to US$1.02/kg and US$1.07/kg respectively while those of 70-75% liquid products slid to US$1.17/kg.

In China, transacted prices of 50% choline chloride dropped to the range of RMB6.50-6.83/kg and those of 60% choline chloride softened to RMB7.17/kg. Prices of 70%-75% liquid products decreased to RMB7.84/kg.

Choline chloride sales will be limited as hog feed production is low. Producers who are keen to close deals are expected to cut prices further.
