Organisers to present prestigious poultry awards at VIV China

Following the successful launches in 2005 of their 'VIV - International Poultry Production Asian Poultry Person of the Year' and 'VIV - International Poultry Asian Pig Person of the Year' awards, organisers International Poultry Production magazine and VNU Exhibitions have announced that prestigious awards will again be presented at VIV China this September.
Launched in 2005 at VIV Asia, the 'VIV - International Poultry Production Asian Poultry Person of the Year Award' will be awarded a second time to an outstanding individual who has made a major contribution to the growth and development of poultry production in Asia. This person may be a pioneer, producer, politician or someone in one of the many supporting disciplines such as nutrition, education, health, environmental management and breeding.
Alongside this award, the 'VIV - International Poultry Asian Pig Person of the Year' and 'VIV - International Hatchery Practice Asian Poultry Breeder of the Year' awards will be presented as well.
Only an outstanding individual who has made a major contribution to the growth and development of poultry breeding in Asia is eligible for the 'VIV - International Hatchery Practice Asian Poultry Breeder of the Year' award. The winner may also be a pioneer, producer, politician or someone in one of the many supporting disciplines such as nutrition, education, health, environmental management and breeding.
VIV China will be held in Beijing from Sep 27-29, with the award presentations set to take place during the opening ceremony on the first day.
Certificates await the winners, along with trophies that they shall hold for one year and complimentary subscriptions to International Poultry Production. The winners will also be guests of the award providers at VIV Asia in 2007.
