Russia's animal feed output up 5.9 percent for Jan-May period
Russia's animal feed industry has posted a 5.9 percent increase in production from January through to May as compared to last year due to higher demand from the poultry sector.
Russia's compound feed output amounted to 805,000 tonnes in May, up 8.3 percent on the year, while it increased 1.3 percent on the year in January-May period. Output of protein and vitamin additives in May rose 70.8 percent on the year to 4,200 tonnes.
